It's hard to get up every time and start again from zero. There are people who can't do anything except producing art and cultural products. These people are the worthless of all for the socio-political institutions. They can't socialize with their families, don't have a mentality to work under a boss and think anything to be wastage of time other than producing a work of art. Usually, these people are considered to be social parasites, mentally incapable beings, irresponsible anarchist idiots; …… so on and so forth. They are left alienated and they react in such a way that the normal people don't get to understand them properly. Consider these people to be Art Freaks.
This is the homepage of Art Freak, a site maintained by Anamitra Roy, an independent artist from a suburban area near Kolkata, West Bengal, India. He welcomes his local artist friends to join him here. No one can draw a master plan or a blue print of an art movement that involves others. D.I.Y. that is do it yourself, don't expect others to do all of your works. You may post your content here directly without my permission once you gain access to the control panel. But if you don't even have that much time to promote your art, just forget it. This website contains raw discussions on art, popular culture, economic exploitations and politics. The current contributors to this website are Anamitra Roy, Sriparna Dey, Snigdhendu Bhattacharya and Ananda Das. Any truthful independent artist from Bengal is welcome to work hand in hand.
We are a brother organization to LFEBF, the no-budget filmmakers' collaborative from West Bengal, India.
